Reliable and Affordable SS7 Access
Since 2001 ss7box and ss7boost have been used by telecom operators on all continents except Antartica where demand is still quite low. Each year increases the features, reliability, conformance, and capacity of these products.
ss7box
ss7box is an SS7 MTP3 router and signal gateway for ITU and ANSI applications that uses Intel/AMD PCs, the Linux operating system, and Sangoma WAN adapter interfaces exclusively to provide affordable, reliable and high capacity access to the SS7 network.
ss7boost
ss7boost is an ISUP protocol engine that uses ss7box, for SS7 network access, and is part of the Sangoma Signal Media Gateway. ss7boost is also an SCCP protocol engine with North American CNAM and LIDB applications currently working. ss7boost also supports an ITU SMS special project that is part of a full SMS application that is under development. In 2008 ss7boost will have a new socket interface for use in call engine scripts to launch CNAM, LNP, TFS, and LIDB queries, and to send/receive special SS7 messages like billing metering.
