ss7box is actively supported again - 2011-12-08 Th
We are fixing problems and adding features. We are figuring out how to keep ss7box and isupd useful. We'd appreciate hearing your ideas.
Reliable and Affordable SS7 Access
Since 2001 ss7box and ss7boost have been used by telecom operators on all continents except Antartica where demand is still quite low. Each year increases the features, reliability, conformance, and capacity of these products.
ss7box
ss7box is an SS7 MTP3 endpoint signal gateway for ITU and ANSI applications. It uses Intel/AMD PCs, the Linux operating system, and currently, Sangoma WAN adapter interfaces to provide affordable, reliable and high capacity platform for access to the SS7 network.
isupd
isupd is an ISUP protocol engine that uses ss7box, for SS7 network access, and is part of a signal media gateway based on Asterisk and Freeswitch.
sccpd
sccpd is an SCCP protocol engine with the North American CNAM application currently working. sccpd also supports an ITU SMS special project that is part of a full SMS application that, honestly, might never happen.
